Back in the days, we'd schedule coffee or lunch as a way to catch up with one another.  With everything being remote, it's been harder to keep in touch.  Networking now requires "intentionality."  Or rather, hopping on a Zoom conference call is not the same as actually having a conversation with another attorney.

DAABA Connections Committee is matching up lawyers with a "new-ish" networking opportunity for lawyers (whether or not you're a member of DAABA).  It's an old idea, but there's always the telephone.  No text messaging.  No Facebook messaging.  No video conference.  It's just POTS (plain old telephone system).  You'll get matched with one other attorney for a quick 15-30 minute telephone call.
