Mr. Alan K. Tse serves as Global Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at Jones Lang LaSalle Inc., a fortune 200 real estate services company, where he manages the legal, compliance and risk functions.

Prior to joining JLL in June 2018, Mr. Tse served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at PETCO Animal Supplies, Inc. where he led the legal, compliance, internal audit, procurement, and government relations departments for the pet retailer. Prior to Petco, from 2011 to 2017, Mr. Tse served as an Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Churchill Downs Incorporated, the parent company to the Kentucky Derby and numerous regional casinos as well as the country’s largest legal online gambling platform, Twinspires.com. Prior to Churchill Downs, Mr. Tse served as Vice President and General Counsel for LG Electronics Mobilecomm U.S.A. Inc., where he managed the legal affairs for the No. 2 cell phone manufacturer in the country.

Mr. Tse’s professional history includes roles as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Ligos Corporation and as General Counsel and Vice President of strategic development and corporate secretary for Centerpoint Broadband Technologies. Mr. Tse started his career as a corporate securities attorney at the law firm of Brobeck Phleger & Harrison LLP working on IPOs and M&A in the 1990s in Silicon Valley. Mr. Tse has been a Director at the Association Of Corporate Counsel since 2013 and currently serves as its Secretary and Chairs the organization’s Global Membership committee.

Mr. Tse is a co-founder and board member of the Asian American Legal Foundation and in 2005 was named one of the “Best Lawyers Under 40” by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. Mr. Tse was a nationally ranked chess master in his youth and graduated with honors from Harvard Law School after receiving his bachelor of arts in economics and political science from the University of California at Berkeley.
