Jin S. Shin
DAABA is proud to spotlight Jin S. Shin, a long time DAABA member and supportive pillar of our mentorship programs.
Jin is an employment attorney at Clark Hill. He advises and counsels employers, HR managers, and executives through complex workplace issues, including non-compete matters, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims, and wage and hour disputes. He regularly defends his clients in single- and multi-plaintiff actions in state and federal courts and before government agencies, guiding matters through every stage of litigation.
Outside his practice, Jin is passionate about giving back to the community and mentors law students and young attorneys through DAABA and other organizations. Jin is married to Luci Shin, his better half, and together are blessed with two young boys, Eli (6) and Ezra (3), who both dream of becoming ninjas one day.
DAABA’S MISSION IS TO PROMOTE THE AAPI LEGAL COMMUNITY THROUGH MENTORSHIP, NETWORKING, AND COMMUNITY SERVICE.

Our commitment to promote the meaningful participation of Asian American Pacific Islanders in the legal field is largely advanced through our mentorship initiatives catered to both law students and practicing attorneys.

Through DAABA, our members are provided numerous opportunities to connect with other attorneys and judges at happy hours, cultural events, and service opportunities.
Community service
As we aim to advance our legal professionals, we simultaneously work towards serving our community through fundraising initiatives, charity drives, and other service opportunities.
