Texas Minority Counsel Program

Make your plans now to attend the Dallas reception promoting this year’s Texas Minority Counsel Program (TMCP), June 24 from 6-8 p.m. at the offices of Haynes and Boone, LLP, and then make plans to attend this year’s TMCP on September 3-4 in San Antonio at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. TMCP encourages corporations and government agencies to retain minority and women attorneys, and each annual conference provides networking opportunities and CLE programs designed to enhance such opportunities for minority and women attorneys. See the attached flyer for details about the Dallas Reception, or the attached brochure for more about this year’s TMCP.

Announcements

A big thank you to those who volunteered their time and talents to Legal Lines on behalf of DAABA in honor of Asian American Heritage Month in May: Eunice Kim, Lincy George, Tailim Song, Rosa Shirley, Jana Diminnie, and Patsy Yung Micale.

DAABA has appointed Rachel Chong Walters and Eunice Kim as its representatives to the Dallas Diversity Task Force, which takes on the important job of studying the Dallas legal community’s efforts to recruit, retain, and promote minority attorneys.
