Jason is an Attorney at Southwest Airlines Co. Prior to joining Southwest, Jason was an Assistant General Counsel at Accudyne Industries, LLC, a Senior Associate in Alston & Bird LLP’s litigation department, and he clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.  Jason received a B.A. and B.S. in International Studies and Economics at Southern Methodist University and his law degree from the University of Virginia.  Jason recently got married to his wife, Diane Shyung, and the two of them enjoy good food and traveling.

After nearly fifteen years in “Big Law,” Drew and a colleague founded Howard & Spaniol, PLLC, a litigation boutique. Although Drew likes “winning” as much as any trial lawyer, he focuses on getting the best results for his clients – whether that means going to trial or working toward an amicable out-of-court solution. Drew also serves on the board of directors of Literacy Instruction for Texas, a local nonprofit dedicated to educating adults so that they can improve their own lives. Most importantly, Drew spends time with his wife (Jess), their daughter (Josie), and their chocolate lab (Apache).

Ann is an Assistant District Attorney for Collin County. She earned her law degree from SMU Dedman School of Law in 2011.  Ann served as the Chair of DAABA’s 2015 Annual Awards Night at the Bush Institute.  Outside of DAABA, Ann enjoys scuba diving, rock climbing, cooking, yoga, and traveling with her husband Sunny.

Mike is a senior associate at the law firm Alston & Bird LLP in the Intellectual Property Litigation Group with a primary focus on complex patent litigation. Mike received his law degree from Cornell Law School in 2012, where he served on the editorial board of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy. He received his undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley. In his free time, Mike is an aspiring filmmaker and is DAABA’s resident videographer.

Shruti is Associate Legal Counsel at Tabletop Media, LLC d/b/a Ziosk, which owns and manufactures a proprietary suite of tablet devices for use in casual dining restaurants. Shruti’s practice includes corporate, intellectual property, data security and privacy, and marketing/advertising law. Shruti graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in Bioinformatics and Molecular Biology, and from UT Southwestern Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences with a M.S. in Biophysics. She received her law degree from SMU Dedman School of Law in 2010. Outside of DAABA, Shruti is a major foodie and enjoys cooking and exploring new restaurants and hot spots around town.
