DAABA NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM

July 15, 2008 - DAABA will host a new, premier annual event for the first time this year entitled “DAABA Night at the Museum: Awards, Corporate Counsel and Local Business.”

The event will be held at the Crow Collection of Asian Art on October 22, 2008 beginning at 6:00pm and will feature Madeleine Johnson, General Counsel of Southwest Airlines, as keynote speaker.

This event will highlight individuals who have contributed to the Asian American community, both legal and public, as well as promote relationships between local businesses and local attorneys. The format of the event is intended to maximize opportunities to network and to bridge the gap between the legal community and local Asian community. DAABA GAMES NIGHT

Jim, recently appointed Texas Solicitor General, will share some of his experiences in Austin and describe some of the cases he is working on before retreating to his private poker room.  Serious players can join him there!  The rest of us will be breaking out mahjong sets and playing cards, Texas Hold ‘Em or any other game you bring.  Beginners welcome – mahjong lessons will be given.  It’ll be a fun, social evening.  Please rsvp to patsyy@bellnunnally.com.
